Somewhat annoyed!
Guess what... Walgreen's brand suncreen contains CORN (sorbitol). Yep...it sure does. After racking my brain for hours on end as to why Logan has a red rash ALL OVER his face, it finally dawned on me that I put sunscreen on him (*face*) when we went out to play. I think I went a little insane thinking that it was something he had eaten, but I knew I hadn't introduced anything new today. Hmmmm. Guess I will be on the lookout for "corn-free" sunscreen. Craziness!

Wow, I've been racking my brain for the last week trying to figure out why my son's been acting so crazy. I just looked at his sunscreen (No Ad for Kids) and it has corn in it. Geez, just when you think you've got the hang of reading labels... I can't believe I missed that. I'll be on the hunt, too. We also have to watch the preservatives & gluten. Good luck on your hunt!
ReplyDeleteKris - Isn't that crazy?! Check his soaps, shampoo, etc. A lot of it does have corn! I will definitely have to check into the compounding pharmacy thing, too. His pediatrician did say that the little bit of corn in his medication is more than likely counteracted with the zyrtec he takes daily... But why have to counteract if not necessary! I will look into that. If I find a sunscreen I will share it with ya! If you are on Facebook my name is Autumn Marret Lewis. We could share info!!!
